Η Cyan άνοιξε τα χαρτιά της σχετικά με το project με ονομασία "something else" το οποίο τελικά δεν ήταν τίποτε άλλο από το τελευταίο Myst που αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει τέλος του χρόνου. Απόσπασμα από την ανακοίνωση:
"Myst V: End of Ages will be released end of 2005 for PC and Mac in hybrid version. Düsseldorf, 12th of January 2005 – Ubisoft, one of the biggest publisher and developer of computer- and videogames worldwide, announced today, that Cyan Worlds, Inc. – the creators of the praised and best-sold Myst-licence – work on the creation (?) of the final adventure of the series.
